Our Origin Story
It all started when our creative kids became friends in preschool. After months of begging, we got together for a pizza night with both families. We hit it off right away, and every time we hung out, we found ourselves talking about creativity, photography, equity in businesses, and our love of adventure. As we learned about each other's backgrounds, with Laura's expertise in film & TV and Priscilla's in photojournalism, we realized we were perfectly equipped to offer high-quality and vibrant creative storytelling services as a dynamic duo. Together, we're a creative, enthusiastic, empathetic, and super fun team. We decided our first story to document together would be about our 'magical kids in the woods' who inspired our entire business.
The Team
Laura Manchester
Lead videographer
Laura started her career as a scenic painter, went on to produce and direct theatre, and has spent the last decade as a TV producer. Her focus has always been creativity, visual arts, and above all else: story. She’s passionate about telling the story of this moment in time, honoring each person's truth, and she loves to put a pop-art spin on anything she can. Her biggest hope is to connect with each client, and maybe find some new skateboarding buddies in the process.
Priscilla Santos
Lead photographer
Priscilla is a bi-cultural Cuban American who adores speaking Spanglish (mix of Spanish + English). Her two favorite things in life are meeting new people + laughing 'till it hurts. Can you see why being a storyteller is the best role for her? With her background in photojournalism, her style is capturing authentic, candid moments — the more diversity, laughter, joy + color, the better. As a social justice leader, she aims to people centered while emboding equity + justice in everything she creates and business practices.
